I graduated from Purdue University with a major in health promotions and a minor in organization, leadership, and supervision. I continued my education by obtaining a nursing degree from Indiana University Kokomo. I have been a nurse for 14 years in our community.Being a nurse has been a passion of mine from a young age. I have always loved helping people and putting a smile on their faces. I truly believe that one small act of kindness can make a big impact on people’s lives in a positive way. After talking to several people in our community, I realized that there is a need for our service to help families who have children and adults with autism and intellectual disabilities. Being a registered nurse and a CPR instructor, I can make sure that our caregivers are trained and certified in CPR. I want to make sure that Key Minds and our caregivers leave a positive impact on each one of our clients and their families. I am very excited to start this company and pay forward the love and support I have received from our community.

Being the mother of an autistic child is no easy feat. I've been one for 20 years, and after learning how to take care of the strongest girl I know, I finally have the opportunity to help multiple families with disabled children and young adults. This has always been a huge passion of mine but with a busy life I have never found a way until now. Key Minds was started on the basis of wanting to match kind and encouraging caregivers with children and adults with autism and intellectual disabilities. It takes an entire community of different people interacting with these individuals in order for them to experience, learn, and grow in a safe environment. We not only want to help the client but we want to help their family as well.
